Mon. Mar 31st 2008 I just finished EVOC class yesterday 3-30-2008. I had the pleasure of driving your #314. I had a spotter ready to go and one of your members (didnt get his name, but had a "Hurt" finger) decided to spot for me. I had never been in a fire truck and was quite nervous. I cant tell you how thrilled I was with the professionalism that he showed in spotting for me and explaining the unit to me. I felt very much at ease and made it through the course with no problems. Thank you for the great attitude and not yelling at me--LOL. Barb Steele CO. 19--Shady Grove. - Barbara Steele

Thu. Jan 17th 2008 Great job on the site. We have been needing this for a long time now so we can keep the community informed about what is going on. Also, I would like to thank yall for the Junior Fire Fighter program because we learn a lot and we are the future of the department and we will keep it in good order. Well lets have a great 2008 year and keep every one safe once again. God Bless. - T.W. Hodges

Sat. Jan 12th 2008 I am from Pittsville MD. Pittsville VFD recently signed up with the same web provider as you and I wanted to check some of the other sites to get some ideas of how they look. I will be doing most of the web work on the site. I like your main page header picture. I read you all had a fire on Christmas Day. Jane Johnson is right, that is dedication and when I read this it makes me feel honored to be part of the same brotherhood as you. Keep up the good work and God Bless. - Richard Mills
